The base engine is a 4-cylinder one with 2.5-liter capacity and with an electric motor to produce 191 hp with CVT. You have the option to choose a non-hybrid engine, in which case you will get a 2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder 250 hp with 8-speed automatic transmission.
The towing capacity of the Maverick is 2000 pounds and the payload is 1500 pounds. If you opt for the Towing Package, then you can extend the towing capacity of the 4-cylinder car to 4,000 pounds.

When it comes to fuel economy, the hybrid variant offers 42 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. The non-hybrid does 30 mpg on the highway and 23 mpg in the city.

The 2023 Maverick is a crew cab and is quite spacious. A number of storage bins and cubbies offers convenience. Many handy features like keyless entry, audio controls on the steering wheel, and lumbar front seat support are available.

All the trims come with an infotainment system featuring an 8-inch touchscreen display. Standard features include Apple Car Play, Android Auto, and Wi-Fi hotspot. Optional features include wireless smartphone charging and Sirius XM Satellite radio.

Automated emergency braking is standard. Other safety features like lane assist, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control are available as options.

Hybrid components have a warranty of 8 years or 100,000 miles. Limited warranty coverage is 3 years of 36,000 miles and powertrain covers 5 years or 60,000 miles.
